Swedish Massage
Relaxes the body, increases circulation, and manually aids in the removal of wastes and toxins from the body.
Cranial-Sacral Therapy
Can be used for specific work anywhere in the body or for general relaxation. It focuses on the rhythms of the movement of spinal fluid and the movement of the bones in the skull.
Hot Stone Therapy ($10 extra)
Hot stones are used to warm and relax muscles so that they respond to bodywork more efficiently.
Hot Bamboo/Bamboo Fusion ($10 extra)
This is a new, luxurious massage modality, using bamboo of various shapes and sizes. The heated sticks allow for more penetrating maneuvers than hands-only massage with the bamboo sticks used as an extension of the hands. This allows the therapist to palpate, find tension, dissolve knots, and trigger points.
Deep Tissue Massage
Designed to break up scar tissue and adhesions ("knots") that have formed from repetitive actions or injuries.
Thai Massage
Also known as "double yoga" as it leverages the body of the therapist to stretch the major muscles and joints of the client.
Reiki
Energetic work channeled through the practitioner in a specific pattern in order to heal and harmonize the client's body.
Glass Cupping
Glass cupping jars are heated and carefully applied to the body for use in lymphatic cellulite services.
Shiatsu
An eastern therapy based on energy meridians, balance, and flow. It is effective for releasing energy blocks and centering the body.
Accelerated Healing Techniques
Used to lengthen tight, shortened muscles.
The Bowen Technique
(Also known as Bowenwork) is a dynamic system of muscle and connective tissue therapy that was developed by the late Tom Bowen in Geelong, Australia. It utilizes small but measured inputs to the body, stimulating the body to heal itself, often profoundly.
